Metro is the source of truth for new marketplace orders. The integration checks Metro every 15 minutes and looks at the last 2 hours of orders, then imports matching orders into Billbee. Manual import is also available for testing, backfills or support investigations.

Billbee is the source of truth for fulfilment and tracking information. When an order is fulfilled in Billbee, shipment information can be sent to Metro in near real time so the marketplace order status and buyer-facing tracking information stay up to date.

Billbee is also the source of truth for stock quantities. When inventory changes in Billbee, the integration can update the matching Metro offer stock in near real time, using the Billbee product identifier configured for the workflow.

Yes, the order status filter can be changed. Keep the default unless you have a clear operational reason to import statuses such as confirmed, shipped, cancelled or return-related orders.

Why was a tracking update not accepted by Metro?

The Metro order lines must be identifiable, the tracking country code must be valid, and any configured carrier mapping must use a Metro carrier value that Metro accepts.

What happens if the Billbee carrier is not mapped to Metro?

If no mapping is found, the Billbee carrier name may be sent as a custom carrier when Metro accepts it. Add carrier mapping when you need to use official Metro carrier IDs.

Why did a stock update fail on Metro?

Metro updates inventory by SKU. Check that the selected Billbee identifier matches the SKU used by the active Metro offer. If the identifiers do not match, Metro may not find the offer to update.
