Integration guide
How Vertbaudet and Shopify work together
Why?
The Mirakl + Shopify integration connects Mirakl-powered marketplaces with Shopify to automate marketplace order handling, fulfilment updates, inventory, selected seller-offer fields and refunds.
Target
It is designed for brands, retailers and operations teams that use Shopify as their main order or fulfilment workspace while selling through one or more Mirakl marketplaces. Marketplace orders can be centralised in Shopify, while Shopify stock, shipment details and selected offer information are sent back to Mirakl.
Benefits
This reduces manual re-entry, improves visibility across the order lifecycle and helps keep marketplace availability, shipment information and financial records aligned.
Data flows
What moves between the apps
Primary sync path
Mirakl is the source for marketplace orders and marketplace-side refunds. Eligible orders are checked every 15 minutes and created in Shopify, where teams can fulfil them alongside other sales channels. Refunded or returned Mirakl orders are also checked every 15 minutes and can be reflected on the corresponding Shopify orders.
Shopify is the operational source for fulfilment, tracking, inventory and Shopify-initiated refunds. These changes are sent to Mirakl in near real time when the relevant Shopify event occurs. Selected fields on existing Mirakl seller offers can also be updated from Shopify; repeated changes are grouped into five-minute imports.
A separate manual catalogue-offer import can create or update seller offers for products that already exist in the Mirakl marketplace catalogue. Manual order and refund imports are available for testing, backfills and support investigations.

Reliability
Monitoring, failure handling and manual replay
Synchron focuses on operational visibility after the sale: logs, error context, monitoring and replay where supported. Read about trust and reliability.
Failure handling
- Configured transfers are monitored with workflow logs and error context so teams can see which record failed and why.
- Failures commonly need the underlying issue corrected first, such as credentials, permissions, product matching, order state, carrier data or a marketplace API response.
- Where the workflow supports it, corrected transfers can be replayed or manually re-run instead of starting the whole process from scratch.
Manual replay
- Manual import is useful during onboarding, backfills, support checks and controlled reprocessing of specific records.
- Replay still depends on correcting the underlying issue first, such as product matching, credentials, permissions or invalid source data.

FAQ
Common questions
How often are Mirakl orders imported?
The order workflow runs every 15 minutes and checks the previous two hours. A manual import is also available for testing, backfills or reprocessing.
Why is a Mirakl order missing from Shopify?
Check the configured payment and order-state filters, the selected Mirakl shop and product matching. If automatic product creation is disabled, an unmatched item prevents the order from being imported.
How are products matched during order import?
Products are matched using Shopify SKUs by default. Barcode matching can be enabled when the marketplace and Shopify share EAN, UPC or GTIN values instead.
Why did a stock or tracking update not reach Mirakl?
Location filters may exclude the Shopify warehouse that produced the event. Also confirm that the Shopify item matches the existing Mirakl offer and that the correct Mirakl shop is selected.
How do filters and options affect synchronisation?
They can limit orders by payment status or state, isolate a Mirakl shop, select Shopify locations, control stock aggregation and restrict offer updates to selected products. Review these settings whenever expected records are missing.
Does the offer update workflow create catalogue products?
No. It updates selected fields on existing Mirakl seller offers only. Catalogue products, images, categories, attributes and inventory are handled separately.
